This Is What A Car Is Supposed To Be ! — This car is amazing , awesome in every way,i can't wait to go to work just so i can drive it. And this is after almost a year. I waited 40 years to get a muscle car, missed out in the70's. One drive and you'll understand. Primary Use: Commuting to work

2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Review
ProsStyling, wide body, power is smooth and very responsive in passing, functional air hood scoops, great entertainment system with navigation & sirius, 20" wheels, remote start, sunroof, very comfortable velour seat for long trips (500 mile round trip). ConsVisibility in rear when backing out of parking spaces and interior materials

Great Purchase For The Money If Styling & Power Is What You Want. — I loved the styling, reminds of my 71 Cuda, and color of Toxic Orange. Power is very responsive and very comfortable to drive for long trip (500 miles). As mentioned above the interior needs improvement and rear visibility when backing out of parking space. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Number 1 Car Made In America! — My Challenger is the best car I have ever owned. Just need to add a turbo and custom paint work and it will be where I want it to be. Drive is very smooth and Acceleration is very good for a v6. I get around 27mpg on the Highway and would go better if i could keep my foot out of the gas. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

2011 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic Review
ProsAs a daily driver, this car performs surprisingly well. Very large trunk (can hold 2 sets of golf clubs easy), smooth riding, adequate backseat room (4 adults can ride comfortably). The 5.7 HEMI has great power, with a very smooth, linear power curve. The 6 speed manual is a blast, and highway gas mileage averages around 23mpg. ConsVisibility is limited, driver has to be sure to make use of all three mirrors in heavy traffic. Braking ability is somewhat disappointing too, especially considering how smooth the car rides it is easy to speed without realizing it.

Perfect Balance Between Power And Practicality — This car is a blast to drive. The 5.7 HEMI has plenty of power, with a very smooth power curve. This car can chirp tires even in third gear! On the other end of the spectrum though, the car is a great daily driver, with smooth ride, plenty of space, and decent gas (23 mpg for nearly 400 hp is a good balance)

Nice, Reliable Vehicle And Stylish. — Overall nice vehicle and handled good. It had descent horsepower. The styling was awesome. Seats were comfortable. Fuel economy wasn't the best in the world, but it wasn't expected either. Vehicle was an eye catcher. I'd recommend this vehicle the young at heart. Primary Use: Commuting to work

My Daughter's Car — The 2011 Challenger Pentastar is competitive with the 2011 Mustang's 3.7-liter V-6 with 305 horsepower and the 2011 Camaro’s V-6 with 312 horsepower. For some reason Dodge didn't offer a manual transmission with the V-6 engine. Only the 2011 Challenger R/T with the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 is available with a manual transmission. I hear that Dodge is replacing the Challenger with the Cuda in the next year or so.

Best Muscle Car Around — Power on this car is great!!! 0-60 in 4.8 and i can get 28 highway! i love this thing. the interior of the car is comfortable and well made. the cabin is nice and quiet as well. the trunk is massive. the only problem i found was the back seat is kind of small. The car looks aggressive even standing still. i have a blast driving this car everyday. im glad i picked the Mopar, Chevy and Ford didn't really even compete in my book. ProsSmooth ride, classic muscle car looks. 2011 has upgraded handling and brakes. Gas milage is pretty good with the 305hp 3.7litre V6. 5 speed automatic make take offs quick. ConsA little hard to see out of when backing up.

Smooth Ride, Classic Muscle Car Looks. — All around excellent car, I can see why they are selling faster than they can build them. With the most retro muscle car looks of any car out there, and decent gas milage(3.7 V6) of 27mpg, we often get closer to 30 on the highway. It still takes off well with the 5 speed auto. |
