Pros

Amazing car...cool technology...it just flat works.  3,400 miles so far and used 14 gallons of gas - that's over 240 mpg.  Costs about $1.50 to fully recharge - so its cost me about $94 in electricity plus about $58 in gas to go 3,400 miles.

Cons

? None.  some will say price, but I think its worth it.  i paid $37,500 after the electric vehicle rebate.

Electric! — Driving a Volt you just get used to answering lots of questions. people stop and stare and ask about it all the time. My answer is always the same - it is a great car and I am so happy driving past gas stations. smooth acceleration - and very quick. Excellent room and comfort. The car looks great - top quality fit and finish - the controls and buttons take a little time to get used to and can be sensitive, but overall it is great. Fun car to give people rides in as the comments are always positive. My main motivation was to keep my money here - not sending it over to the middle east - and others seem to agree. Every Volt driver I've spoken to loves their car.

One Of The Best Hybrids On The Market — Very loose steering. Accelerator, brake pedal, and steering wheel were very easy to move. Drives really smooth, but not too fast. Interior panels on doors were green and kind of girly looking. Exterior looks pretty cool. Visibility isn't too great, but back-up camera was very helpful.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

A Car To Change The World — This car could change the way we think of cars... it runs completely electric until the batteries are exhausted (from an overnight charge) and then engages a gas engine to extend the range to what we expect of our current cars.

The Perfect Car To Own To Save Money On Gas, Meant For A Family Of Four Or Less. — I loved driving this car. The performance is very well for the type of car. Be sure to use the L shift when in stop and go traffic! It saves energy. Figured that out the hard way. It worked really well in snow and puddles too. The build quality is fine so far. It's a brand new car so nothing should be wrong. I love the appearance. Very stylish and aerodynamic. The cost of ownership is a bit pricey, but worth it in the long run when you don't have to pay for gas as much. It charges in 4hrs on the special 240V outlet, while a normal household 120V outlet charges it in 8hrs.
