2011 Chevrolet Traverse LT1 Trim Overview

With the addition of a few more features, behold the front-wheel-drive (FWD) mid-level 2011 Chevrolet Traverse LT1. This front-wheel-drive, eight-passenger, midsize crossover comes with such extra doo-dads as 18-inch alloy wheels, a trip computer, power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated outside mirrors, steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls, as well as outside mirrors configured to reduce blind spots. Of course, 116 cubic feet of cargo space (with the rear seats folded) is also standard. Additional options include rear-seat DVD entertainment, a power sunroof, rear-view camera, second-row captain’s chairs, universal remote garage door opener, and remote engine start. Safety-wise, the LT1 features turn-signal-integrated mirrors and available rear parking sensors in addition to the standard equipment found in the LS trims.

As with its LS brethren, the 2011 Traverse LT1 packs a 281-hp, 266-lb-ft/torque 3.6-liter variable-valve-timed (VVT) V6 and its accompanying six-speed auto-manual transmission. When properly equipped, up to 5,200 pounds of towing capacity can be expected with this capable drivetrain, as can 17/24 mpg.
