A six-speed automatic transmission drives the rear wheels through a locking rear differential.

Inside, the 2011 Suburban LTZ 1500 sets itself apart from lesser trims with special perforated leather seats that are heated in both the first and second rows, standard GPS navigation with a rear-view camera, and a power-operated liftgate.
