Overview of 2011 Chevrolet Suburban LT 2500 By Jesse Berger
The 2011 Chevrolet Suburban LT 2500 allows owners to tow their trailer in style. Able to pull up to 9,600 pounds, the rear-wheel-drive Suburban LT 2500 also features a luxurious, leather-lined interior that enables drivers to pass the miles in comfort.
Along with its beefy leaf spring rear suspension, the 2011 Suburban LT 2500 gets a 6.0-liter V8 engine. With 352 hp and 382 lb-ft of torque, the large V8 is up to the demands of serious hauling. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission and standard limited-slip differential. Overall performance, especially under load, eclipses the lighter-duty half-ton Suburbans. The tradeoff is a much firmer ride when unladen and seriously thirsty fuel economy.
The interior of the Suburban LT 2500 is decked out with leather upholstery, convincing ersatz wood trim, and power accessories galore. Other standard equipment includes a nine-speaker Bose audio system, rear parking assist, and remote start. Options include a GPS navigation system, power sunroof, and heated seats.
This overview covers the LT 2500 trim only.
