Pros

Good horsepower, handles well, awesome fuel economy if you're not speeding.

Cons

Not a lot of back seat space, maintenance costs high.

All Around Great Car — Love the speed and acceleration. Has great sound system, great gas mileage. Only cons are maintenance costs and low space. It's a manual so improves gas mileage and better control with acceleration. A/C and heat work great. Body style is very nice.

Nice Cruiser, But Take It For What It Is Worth And Don't Think You're Getting A Sports Car... — So, when Chevy FINALLY launched the new Camaro in convertible form, I went out and grabbed one of the first ones coming to my area... love the looks... on top of that, the engine was pretty strong... but it is actually a large car... so it handles more like a sedan than a sports car... also, while the engine has some power, the gas mileage is pretty bad... I had a Corvette Z06 will about 100 more horse power and yet it did about 10 mpg better than the Camaro... I averaged about 16 MPG... doesn't make sense to me... So all in all, it was a fun car and for a convertible, the back seats are OK so if you have a family with young children you can all go out in it... but don't think you're getting a sports car because that just isn't the case...

Pros

Sporty looking, strong V8

Cons

Very quiet and now are being sold to rental car companies, they are everywhere. Difficult to see out of and park, front fenders stick out

Classy Looks, Great T Weekend Car — Overall the car is nice. It's gets mpg on the hwy for 400hp. It's difficult to park in smaller parking spaces, limited visibility & large front fenders make it a challenge. I would buy one again only as a weekend car

Pros

This car is safe and built like a tank.  It is fast w/ the LS3 motor and falls just a little bit shy of running a Vette due to the extra weight of the Camaro.  Of course, with modifications ...

Cons

The back seat is a tight fit for anyone, but is great when the back comes down and between the room of the back seat and the trunk it is like you're driving an enclosed pick-up truck.

2011 Camaro 2ss — This car is one of the very best I've ever owned. My Corvettes slip around the corners unless you're an experienced driver where as the traction control and the active handling really work on this car. This car is nice because it runs just as good on regular gas as it does on premium, saving a little money at the pumps. In the right hands of a driver w/ track experience, this car will put a hurting, or at least challenge, on anything on the road.

Perfection — Can't really think of anything bad to say about this car. Looks great, handles great and can really put you back in your seat. Do yourself a favor, and get behind the wheel of one of these V-8 power plants and take it for a test drive.

Pros

This is a race car dressed up as a show car. The engine has immediate response, and the roar turns every head when you step on it. You will never fear a neighboring 'Stang at any intersection.

Cons

Not a lot of room in the back seat. Cannot fit a hockey bag in the trunk...sigh.

631hp Beauty! — I love every look I get in this car, and the roar is an absolute rush! She has great handling, great response, and will pull a front row spot at any rally or show. This is truly a one-off Camaro and well worth a look!

Love the retro look...

Cons

I was expecting more of a daily driver with this car - I traded in a 2010 Z06 Vette and that car with almost 100 horse power more I could get mid 20's for mileage on the highway, but this car barely does 20...

Fun Car But Would Never Buy If It Was My Only Car... — I've always had summer 'toys'... as soon as the Camaro came out as a convertible, I knew I had to have one... and I have to start off saying it is a fun car... but I think based on what you may be used to, it isn't really a sports car... I've had several Corvettes, a M3 Convertible, Porsched Boxster S, to just name a few... and while the Camaro looks great and has some horse power, I wouldn't call it a sports car... it is too big and the handling just isn't there... so if you want to buy something for a cruiser, or if you have a family, the back seats will work for young children... but if you are like me and really want to drive and find a twisty road, etc, this isn't that car...

Pros

Strong motor and drive train. The LS3 is solid engine with lots of potential. Seats are comfy. Looks are killer! Highest quality Camaro ever. Bremo Brakes are incredible.

Cons

Hurst shifter feel knotchy. Stock tires are terrible in weather below 40f. After 3 years of driving it is still hard to judge for parking.

Camaro Ss Is A Winner. — I'm 6'3", plenty of headroom with a sunroof. The power is there, but it never slams you in your seat. The power can be felt best from a roll, imo. The BA stereo is decent, best with a cd or MP3 player. XM radio sounds flat. Once the motor is broken in, after about 15k milkes, the exhaust starts to sound beefer. This car is great for getting attention and starting conversations.
