Love the retro look...

Cons

I was expecting more of a daily driver with this car - I traded in a 2010 Z06 Vette and that car with almost 100 horse power more I could get mid 20's for mileage on the highway, but this car barely does 20...

Fun Car But Would Never Buy If It Was My Only Car... — I've always had summer 'toys'... as soon as the Camaro came out as a convertible, I knew I had to have one... and I have to start off saying it is a fun car... but I think based on what you may be used to, it isn't really a sports car... I've had several Corvettes, a M3 Convertible, Porsched Boxster S, to just name a few... and while the Camaro looks great and has some horse power, I wouldn't call it a sports car... it is too big and the handling just isn't there... so if you want to buy something for a cruiser, or if you have a family, the back seats will work for young children... but if you are like me and really want to drive and find a twisty road, etc, this isn't that car...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Probably One Of The Best Camaros Ever. — First off, I love the way these cars look on the outside. 425hp is nothing to shake a stick at either. I can't have a super in depth review since I haven't lived with one day to day, I will just be touching on things. Lemme say how much I HATE trying to see when backing up or parking these behemoths. They weigh nearly 2 tons also, so these cars are most definitely large and in charge! There is no reason other then looks that they went with stupid over sized 19 and 20 inch rims, and frankly that is just sad. Even the V6 model has some decent power, I can say that they are finally worth getting since you can still go fast. The V8 with a good set of pipes produces an amazing note, and it is just awesome to finally have a bowtie that looks, goes, AND sounds the part again. Don't mention vettes, they do not count.

Pros

I loved the handling, Power and Looks of this car. I like the HUD, sound system and Leather. The car meets and exceeds so many of my expectations!

Cons

The only bad parts about the car are: 1. Lack of cargo space. 2. The thing is HUGE! it weights almost 380lbs more than the previous generation which isnt to good for performance, however it makes up for this with power. 3. The back seats are kind of small but that is forgivable its a performance car.

The Camaro Has Come Full Circle — The car is a V6 but hell it has almost as much HP as the Previous Z28 and SS of the 4th Generation Camaro. It accelerates amazingly and it handles like a champ! The HUD takes some getting use to but its really helpful if used properly.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Amazing, they got it right with the 5th Generation. LS3 V8 w/ Manual short throw hurst shifter is a fantastic ride. Its aggressive and fun at the same time. The 6.2L has amazing acceleration for its class and really gives a nice rumble at low RPM's even with the factory exhaust system. Have had a ton of complements about the looks to the sounds. It has an aggressive profile with big 20 inch rims and Pirelli P Zero performance tires. Plenty of truck space. Back seats I gave a 4 because they are fine for people 5'9 or shorter. You can't expect a car like this to be good for a 6'0 person in the back. I myself am 5'11 and have a ton of room in the front. Seat positioning is also fantastic. Performance is everything I asked for, could not be happier. Fuel Economy... its a V8, its not going to be efficient, but for a 6.2L 426hp V8 fuel economy is pretty good, especially highway.

Cons

Family Car... its a Muscle Car/Sports Car. It should not be part of the review. Biggest con is the visibility while backing up or changing lanes

Fantastic Ride... Brings Back The Old Muscle Car Power With Sports Car Looks — Bought this Car as a life long Camaro fan and couldn't be happier. I've seen the Challenger, Charger, Mustang, etc... and unless your going to go GT 500 or Camaro ZL1 the Camaro SS is top of the line in so many ways. Some people bag the interior... really its suppose to have a muscle car look, which it does and the seats are very nice and comfortable. If you have been thinking about this Car for awhile (like I was over 2 years) I suggest you at least look at the car at a dealership, you will be impressed!

Pros

Strong motor and drive train. The LS3 is solid engine with lots of potential. Seats are comfy. Looks are killer! Highest quality Camaro ever. Bremo Brakes are incredible.

Cons

Hurst shifter feel knotchy. Stock tires are terrible in weather below 40f. After 3 years of driving it is still hard to judge for parking.

Camaro Ss Is A Winner. — I'm 6'3", plenty of headroom with a sunroof. The power is there, but it never slams you in your seat. The power can be felt best from a roll, imo. The BA stereo is decent, best with a cd or MP3 player. XM radio sounds flat. Once the motor is broken in, after about 15k milkes, the exhaust starts to sound beefer. This car is great for getting attention and starting conversations.

Wonderfully Fun — Only used as a summer car for commuting to work and road trips. Fun to drive, especially with the top down, grabs a lot of attention. Very comfortable and fast for being a V6. Night driving is cool with the backlit LED trim and console details.

Loved It — 550 rwhp and 500rwtq LOTS of power and FUN! Unfortunately I let it go. Guy made an offer I couldnt turn down. Would love to build another in the future. All work was done at Lethal Racing in Lafayette, La.

Love It — Nothing, everything works as it should. Good quality workmanship. Good gas mileage if I can keep my foot out of it. No question GM did their homework and reached back to the 69 and brought it up to date, AMEN

Attention Getter! — Very nice car! This is my wife's car so I have only driven it a handful of times, but it is a real attention getter. For the price of the vehicle, it is a steal. I have not experienced anything negative about owning the car.
