Overview of 2011 Chevrolet Camaro LT2 By Michael Perkins
Ho, ho, ho – the Camaro wakes up a bit here in the 2011 LT2 trim, with leather upholstery for the front bucket seats and steering wheel, as well as 19-inch alloys. A rear-obstacle detection system is standard here as well, and the stereo has been upgraded to a Boston Acoustics system with a USB port and Bluetooth. The LT2 borrows the head-up display from the Corvette and also gets heated front seats and heated power mirrors with driver’s side automatic dimming. The rear-view sports the same tech and is accompanied by a compass and universal garage door opener. Still motivated by the 3.6-liter V6 here, you’ll get your choice of six-speed transmissions, both benefiting from traction and stability control as standard features. There are power windows, doors and locks as well as remote keyless entry. Foglights are found up front, matched by daytime running and automatic headlights. You’ll get one year of OnStar service as well. The driver’s seat is a 6-way power unit and sits behind a tilt and telescoping steering wheel which holds auxiliary audio controls. Four-wheel antilock disc brakes join six standard airbags for safety.
This overview covers the LT2 trim only.
