For those in the snow belt, the 2011 Cadillac CTS 3.0L Luxury AWD sedan is a compelling alternative to an SUV or truck. With a high-tech AWD system developed by Borg Warner, the CTS can make even the diciest road conditions seem tame.

Powering the CTS 3.0L Luxury AWD is an all-aluminum V6 engine that makes 270 hp. While the high-revving motor makes good power at the top of the range, its lack of low-end torque (only 223 lb-ft are on offer) makes the heavy CTS Luxury AWD a bit sluggish off the line.
