Pros

Recommended - will certainly replace it with the newer model when the time comes which addresses some of its feew weaknesses.

Cons

Auto box can be a bit slow.  Rear visibility is poor.  Quite thirsty.

Good Value And Spacious Family Transportation. — My wife uses this car for the family and apart from it being thirsty on diesel (like all heavy SUVs), she loves it. It is comfortable, spacious and incredibly easy to drive with a surprisingly small turning circle and well assisted steering. It is less flashy than the Cayenne on which it is based and has an attractive interior and a great satnav system. The ride can be a little bouncy on some surfaces and it gets unsettled by dips and crests but it is never firm or uncomfortable. In truth the car deserves a better auto box too which can be dim witted in low gears but then quickly sorts itself out up the rev range to provide plenty of grunt and a smooth drive.

Primary Use: Family transportation
