The 2010 Toyota RAV4 Sport V6 4WD combines a sport-tuned suspension and a solid V6 engine with Toyota's electronic on-demand four-wheel-drive (4WD) system, which provides optimal traction and stability on all types of road surfaces. The 4WD system channels power from a 3.5-liter, DOHC V6 engine, which pumps out 269 hp and 246 lb-ft of torque. The engine features variable valve timing with intelligence, or VVT-i, which helps improve engine performance and efficiency. It connects to a five-speed automatic transmission and manages fuel economy numbers of 19/26 mpg. Toyota's Star Safety system, which includes Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control, traction control, and antilock brakes with brake assist and electronic brakeforce distribution, comes standard. Hill Start Assist Control and Downhill Assist Control are also included on the standard feature list.
Inside, the RAV4 Sport V6 4WD seats five passengers in two rows, including a fold-down second row. Such features as air conditioning, remote keyless entry, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel, power windows and door locks, and a six-speaker AM/FM audio system with a CD player and an MP3 player come standard. Cruise control, which also comes standard, includes a brake deceleration feature. Owners can add a number of optional features, including a power tilt/slide moonroof with a sunshade, a touch-screen navigation system with NavTraffic, and a rear backup camera linked to an electrochromic rear-view mirror with a camera monitor. Other options include a Premium Package, which adds leather upholstery and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, among other features. Outside, integrated foglights, halogen headlights, LED taillights, a rear spoiler, a side-opening rear door, and power exterior mirrors are among the standard features. The RAV4 Sport V6 4WD rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.
