The 2010 Suzuki SX4 Sport S aims for a performance driving experience and mostly succeeds, with zippy acceleration and confident handling. The Sport S has an aero body kit that dresses up the SX4 with front, side, and rear under-spoilers. Stylish 17-inch alloy wheels and body-color trim round out the sporty look.

Like all SX4s the Sport S trim is powered by a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder (I4) engine that develops 150 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque. This smooth, powerful motor mates to a sporty six-speed manual transmission that drives the front wheels. Acceleration is lively, and the SX4 Sport S corners well, with crisp turn-in.

The interior of the SX4 Sport S features some surprising touches. The four-speaker CD stereo offers speed-sensitive volume control, while the standard touch-screen navigation system is another nice feature not usually seen in this price class.
