The Lexus IS C 350C debuts for 2010 with a peppy V6 engine, a luxury-oriented interior, sleek exterior styling, and a power-operated, three-piece aluminum hardtop, which opens and closes in just 20 seconds. A 3.5-liter V6 engine, which generates 306 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque, powers the 350C. The engine links to a six-speed automatic transmission and posts fuel economy numbers of 18/25 mpg. Vehicle stability control, traction control, and antilock brakes with brake assist all come standard on the 350C. The rear-wheel-drive convertible coupe rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires.
Exterior features include large air intakes, a bold grille and fascia with integrated elliptical foglights, power-adjustable exterior mirrors with defoggers, a rear spoiler with an integrated brake light, and dual chrome exhaust tips. Inside, leather upholstery, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, metallic-finish trim, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel give the 350C's cabin an upscale feel. Other standard interior features include Bluetooth, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, push-button start, and an illuminated entry system. For entertainment, Lexus includes an eight-speaker AM/FM premium audio system with a 6-CD changer, XM satellite radio, an automatic sound levelizer, and an MP3 input jack. The convertible coupe also comes equipped with a full range of airbags, including enlarged front-seat-mounted side airbags.
