Perfect For Those Who Don't Need High End Comfort — I own a 2 door Sport stick (my second wrangler) and use it for everything from commuting to trucking the family around to towing for work and play. Starting at the top of the good list is 4x4. I go through mud, climb rocks, tow and launch a bass boat in some difficult areas, and cruise the beach. It does exactly what the adds would have you expect. The soft top is great and easy to put up or down WITH some practice. Also the interior is made to get wet and dirty so getting caught in the elements isn't a problem, for the vehicle anyway. Its simple so no aggravating power windows or locks to break. Gas mileage for this type of vehicle is great IF you accelerate slowly and don't go too fast. On the highway it gets 25-26 mpg at 55 mph, 23 at 60, 21 at 65 and 19-20 at 70. Towing the boat only knocks off about 1 mpg. If you like working on or customizing cars, they make almost anything you can think of to attach to the Wrangler. Usually its very easy to work on. I installed a portable satellite radio in about 30 minutes and it looks like a pro did it because many interior pieces are removed easily with normal hand tools. Hill assist is also a big plus on inclines encountered. It holds the brakes for a second or two allowing you time to get to the accelerator without drifting backward. The engine lacks low end power. For example to pick-up my boat at most ramps I have to be in 4-Low. That's the tradeoff for good mpg I guess. The dash board is pretty cheap and lacks places to store much. Storage was partiallysolved by purchasing a new section of dashboard from Daystar. Comfort for family is lacking but improves greatly along with storage by getting the four door. Long rides are uncomfortable but not torture. The handling is what you should expect, it's no Ferrari on the road but then again a Ferrari is far worse off road. Traction control over reaches quite often but fortunately can be turned off. Probably the last thing is Soft top side panel storage. There's no place to conveniently store the panels on or in the vehicle. Overall you're getting a 4x4 convertible that is fun, tough, and can do anything you need it to. One last plus, the more dirty and dinged up it gets the better it looks.

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited — Always wanted to own a wrangler and it's everything i thought driving one with the top off is! The fun factor is huge! Also love the versatility of the vehicle. my only complaint is that the instructions for installing the soft top was nowhere to be found and that Jepp doesn't give you the tool for removing the hard top. Granted it's a $2.00 item, but for what you are paying, they should inglude it with the Two Top package.

Well rounded vehicle. Numerous aftermarket parts/accessories available.

Cons

Need another engine choice. 6 speed manual feels like you're always rowing to another gear.

I Waited Too Long To Get Another Wrangler. Looking Forward To Off-road Trips, And Wind In The Hair. — Round 3 of the Wrangler experience. A YJ, TJ, and now a JK. After owning numerous vehicles, this is still my favorite. Best equated to a swiss army knife. While it has it's trade-offs, it is capable of nearly any task you can ask of it. It may not the 'best' in any category other than off-road capabilities, but it is not a task specific vehicle either. ie. mini-van = haul people around, truck = haul stuff/towing. It has seating for 4 comfortably, rag-top roof that provides a convertible atmosphere, off-road capabilities, comparable power equipment to most models available, can tow with it, and has a certain "brotherhood" amoungst fellow Jeepers. If you like luxurious vehicles, then this is not for you, however if you have an adventurous spirit, and can make compromises (some wind noise with soft-top, underpowered engine, upper teens on fuel economy) then this likely may be a good fit. So far no problems in first 5K.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

This Truck Is Anything But Luxurious. — This ride is a beast. Rides like a milk truck. Gets horrible gas mileage...I LOVE IT! Thisis the most Spartan vehicle I have ever owned. Don't plan on getting anywhere fast. Just know that nothing short of a brick wall will get in your way.

Pros

Can drop the top, wheel in the woods, and still carry luggage, and 4 people

Cons

Poor engine choice, needs more low end torque.

The Off-roading Machine — Highly off-road capable. Seats 4. Carries luggage, and the dog. Can let the top down for open air entertainment. 17" wheels a bit large for Rubicon, needs 16"er's with more rubber. Plastic bumpers already scratched from first off-road event.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Great Vehicle To Buzz Around In — Vehicle is a great summertime cruiser - usually had the top and doors off all summer long. Great to take into town and easy to find a parking place - small, agile, and very capable. Vehicle will go anywhere and is great in the snow. More room than the older jeep body styles and the sound system is good

2010 Jeep Wrangler 4wd — This is a great vehicle for summer-absolutely love the feeling of freedom this vehicle provides. The ability to space to haul major cargo is a plus, too. Loved that there seems to be a "Jeep Wrangler Community" out there. Everyone who is in a Wrangler waves!
