Awesome Car — This is a sleek looking car with tons of power. It has great handling and make stable turns. It runs well and great on gas. Many people do not know it is a Hyundai. First impression from people is usually Whoa!

Pros

Extremely fun to drive!  I bought mine used and it was 1/2 the price of new!  Kids love riding in it (it actually has a back seat).

Cons

Back seat is for kids only.  I (as an adult) can not fit in the back seat.  I hit my head on the roof and I'm only 5-10.  Rear-wheel drive is a challenge in the snow and not for the weak hearted or in-experienced drivers.  Manual transmission can be a challenge in daily-driving, stop-n-go traffic.

Fun, Affordable, 300+hp Coupe, True To Sports-car Look And Feel. — My wife and I love sports cars and we have had some sporty vehicles but the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coup 3.8 is a true sports car for the common man (that has 2 kids)! We love how it looks and how it handles. The 3.8L V6 has over 300HP and a driver/passenger can really tell! We love this car and look forward to having it for the rest of our lives (with a few upgrades along the way)! Maybe someday I'll get my chance to get it out on a real closed road-course style track!

Good For Hyundai, But Still Not A "luxury" Car — I got plenty of compliments in this car, but it's not a luxury car. The interior has started to peel in places. The car has definitely not held it's value as it's already worth less than 50% in under 3 years.

Amazing Car .. I Would Recomend It To Any Young Guy ... Oh Btw .. Its An Awesome Chick Magnet ^^ — Performance - acceleration = amazing, braking = best brakes ive ever seen, handling = amazing Build Quality - flawless .. though the subwoofer often raddles the roof panel in the back Appearance - awesome styling inside and out 10/10 .. though the front of the car seems like its missing something 9/10 Cost of Ownership - gas mileage = what evey person should expect out of a sports car, maintenance = very easy to do Fun Factor - is this car fun to drive? = you have no idea .... im in heaven every time I do =)

Nice — Appearance; was very stylish and looks great, and was quite comfortable inside especially with the soft bucket type seats. Build quality; Its fairly quiet when your commute. Although there is a small rear pillar that prevents you from looking back at your blind spot, but you get use to it and look past that. As for gas milages its pretty good avg 25mpg on premium. Maintenance and repair costs are also fairly cheap. Performance; With a turbo built in the car accelerates smoothly and quickly, for handling its not so great as its a pretty heavy car. Overall its a fun car to drive everyday.

Pros

The look, style, performance and color :D

Cons

Cheap, plastic dash/console...scratches easily, going in to replace the tranny at 12,000kms (not impressed) hard to engage stick shift at about 500km (first warranty claim), squeaky sunroof resulting in headliner being replaced was the second warranty claim...tranny will be my third).

Fun Car For $40,000. — For $40g, you get a 3.8L V6 300hp, 6spd, brembo brakes, Navi, leather interior, heated seats. It's an amazing car for the $...awesome handling, superb acceleration ( it's very easy to hit 160kms, and not even realize it). The car always turns heads, not only because of the color...but I have removed all the name plates and replaced them with aftermarket emblems that resemble the Aston Martin emblem....so it really confuses people. I laugh when I look in my rearview mirror and watch the people behind me trying to figure out what the car is. :)

Pros

Its worth the money and if you're willing to spend (which I would be) The car comes with more refined features on the higher up trim levels

Cons

People are still up in the air when it comes to the Hyundai name, that would be their main deterence.

I Love It And Can't Wait To See How The Car Evolves In The Next Few Years — Overall A step up for Hyundai, though I'm curious to see how they redesign the car and if they're going to break it off from Hyundai and make it a stand alone car line. For the price range it fits, its completely worth the money, and as to the features that come along, even on base models, it shows Hyundai is trying to compete in a more competitive car market. After saying all this with it still being a relatively new car there are a few things that can be improved on, but again that can come with the redesigns. biggest issue with the car, The shifting could be smoother, it seems no matter how hard you try to get in a smooth shift you always feel it. This being my first rear wheel drive car, there's a noticeable difference with the way the car handles. Cornering in the car can be very fun. The appearance of the car is I think, one of its biggest selling points, The details put into the body with the sweeping lines running the length of the car and a more aggressive front face, it works and plays up the sport coupe category that it falls in. As for interior fit and finish, the layout is done quite well and reminds me of the g37 interior (though vaguely) My favorite part about the interior is how symmetrical it is, from the sweeping dashboard to even the speedometer and tachometer. having the 2.0T the car gets decent gas mileage without sacrificing power. I would be anywhere between 23-29 MPG depending on how I was driving.

Idiots who think because it's a Hyundai it must be cheap. Anyone who actually gives it a chance is very favorably impressed.

Very Fun To Drive, Planning To Mod To About 300 Hp — Fun, yet economical, sporty, great looking car. Easy to modify, great potential for inexpensive horsepower gains. Approximately $2000 will get the 2.0T to 250 hp, and 290 torque. Styling and comfort (believe it or not) are top reasons to buy if not into modifying.

B — Performance: Solid acceleration, needs more power to better compete with it's competition. Handling is good for a sports car, nothing overly noteworthy though...it'll do what you ask it to and not complain. Build Quality: There have been a few issues, but they're to be expected on a first year car.
