The 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring GLS is the base trim for this five-door hatchback model. The front-wheel-drive GLS is powered by a 2-liter I4 (138 horsepower, 136 lb-ft of torque) mated to a five-speed manual overdrive transmission that gets 23 city/31 highway mpg and has a 750-pound maximum towing capacity. The GLS has four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, and speed-sensitive steering.

Interior features for the GLS include air conditioning, power windows with driver’s one-touch down, power locks, a panic alarm, three 12-volt power outlets, a theft deterrent system, a tilt steering wheel, cloth seat trim, four-way adjustable driver's and passenger seats, a 60/40-split rear bench, cargo concealed storage, cargo tie-downs, and a six-speaker AM/FM stereo with XM Satellite radio, an in-dash CD player, MP3 capability, an auxiliary input jack, and speed-sensitive volume. Exterior highlights include foglights, power mirrors, remote entry, and 15-inch steel wheels with P195/65TR15 BSW all-season tires.
