2010 Honda Civic Hybrid Trim Overview

The 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid sedan posts fuel economy numbers of up to 45 mpg, thanks to its hybrid powerplant, which combines a 1.3-liter four-cylinder gas engine with a 15kW electric motor. The powerplant produces 110 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque, and sends power to the wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The EPA estimates fuel economy numbers for the hybrid engine at 40/45 mpg. A regenerative braking system recharges the Hybrid's 158-volt nickel metal hydride battery. Safety features include a Vehicle Stability Assist system, traction control, brake assist, and antilock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution.

Inside, the Civic Hybrid comes well-equipped with such standard features as automatic climate control, cruise control, a two-tier instrument panel, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel with cruise and audio controls, and a center console with a sliding armrest and a storage compartment.
