2010 Honda CR-V Trims

EX

Avg. Price: $17,226

Longer rides get a bit more comfortable with the addition of an outside-temperature indicator and compass to complement the tachometer, cruise, and trip computer in the 2010 Honda CR-V EX. Buyers also get a power sunroof, rear privacy glass, and a stereo upgrade to a 6-CD and MP3 changer, controls for which can be found on the tilt/telescoping steering wheel. Front bucket seats are found up front, with a split-folding unit in the second row. Air conditioning and power mirrors, windows, and door locks are included, along with remote keyless entry. The EX also benefits from alloy wheels and illuminated visor mirrors, but it's powered by the same 2.4-liter engine as the LX, with the five-speed automatic transmission.

Safety features include dual front, front-side, and curtain-side airbags, traction control and anti-skid, four-wheel antilock disc brakes with brake assist, a tire pressure monitor, theft-deterrent system, and daytime running lights.

EX AWD

Avg. Price: $18,087

With a 6-CD and MP3 changer, power sunroof, and rear privacy glass, the Honda CR-V EX 4WD offers much more than just an all-wheel-drive system. The tilt/telescoping steering wheel has additional controls for the stereo, and several other small upgrades are added at this trim level, including an outside-temperature indicator and compass to complement the tachometer, trip computer, and cruise control. The front bucket seats are covered in an upgraded cloth this year and matched by a split-folding unit for the rear. Power amenities include mirrors, windows, and locks to match the sunroof, and are also joined by remote keyless entry. Illuminated visor mirrors keep you looking pretty, while an upgrade to alloy wheels at this trim level doesn’t detract from vanity on the exterior.

The 2.4-liter engine delivers power through a five-speed automatic transmission to the 17-inch wheels, which hide four-wheel antilock disc brakes with brake assist. Traction control and an anti-skid system keep all that power in check, and the standard safety features are rounded out by six standard airbags, a tire pressure monitor, a theft-deterrent system, and daytime running lights.

EX-L

Avg. Price: $19,280

Real luxury enters the 2010 Honda CR-V trim lineup with the EX-L trim, sporting heated front bucket seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate controls, and satellite radio. Its 6-CD and MP3 changer has a digital-media player connection, iPod adapter, and controls on the tilt/telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel. Daytime running lights are paired here with automatic headlights, and a center console provides additional storage and utility. A power sunroof, power windows, doors, and heated power mirrors are all standard here, along with remote keyless entry. Driver conveniences and information systems include a tachometer and trip computer, compass and outside-temperature indicator, cruise control and lumbar adjustment for the driver's bucket. Rear privacy glass prevents outsiders from seeing the split-folding rear seat, and illuminated visor mirrors prevent you from being caught unawares about spinach in your teeth, night or day. 17-inch alloys hide four-wheel antilock disc brakes with brake assist, and the EX-L is motivated by the 2.4-liter engine paired to the five-speed automatic transmission found in the remaining CR-V trims.

Dual front, front-side, and curtain-side airbags protect occupants in a crash, and are teamed with traction control, an anti-skid system, a theft-deterrent system, and a tire pressure monitor.

EX-L AWD

Avg. Price: $19,804

Front bucket seats get upgraded to heated leather units here, and the driver’s seat gets 10-way power as well as lumbar adjustment. The tilt and telescoping steering wheel is similarly wrapped in leather and holds auxiliary controls for the 6-CD and MP3 changer. All-wheel drive is the major upgrade on this trim, however, albeit it with the same 2.4-liter engine and five-speed automatic transmission. Traction control and an anti-skid system are also included, along with four-wheel antilock disc brakes for its 17-inch alloys.

The driver enjoys many conveniences, including a tachometer and trip computer, cruise control, compass, and outside-temperature indicator. Daytime running lights are paired with automatic headlights, and illuminated visor mirrors keep the interior similarly bright. Power features include heated mirrors, windows, door locks, and a sunroof, along with remote keyless entry. Additional safety features include six standard airbags, a theft-deterrent system, and a tire pressure monitor.

LX

Additional safety features include six standard airbags, a tire pressure monitor, daytime running lights, and a theft-deterrent system.

LX AWD

Avg. Price: $16,765

With a 2.4-liter engine and a five-speed manual transmission, the Honda CR-V LX 4WD trim offers car comfort with SUV stability through its traction control, anti-skid, and four-wheel-drive systems. Dual front bucket seats are upholstered in cloth and sit in front of a split-folding rear seat. Air conditioning, a CD/MP3-compatible stereo with digital-media player connection, and a myriad of power features including windows, doors, and mirrors are paired with remote keyless entry for convenience and comfort. A tilt and telescoping steering wheel provides adjustment options for the driver, and cruise control, a tachometer, and a trip computer are all standard.

Four-wheel antilock disc brakes with brake assist, six airbags, a tire pressure monitor, daytime running lights, and a theft-deterrent system round out the safety features.
