2010 Ford Escape XLT Trim Overview

Situated in the middle of the Escape trim lineup, the 2010 Ford Escape XLT adds such standard goodies as premium cloth upholstery, a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, digital keypad door locks, steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls, front and rear floor mats, and satellite radio. As for options, the XLT offers leather seating, Ford’s highly regarded SYNC infotainment system with Bluetooth technology, GPS-based DVD navigation, a power moonroof, and a USB connection.

Equipped with a standard 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine and its accompanying six-speed automatic transmission, the 2010 Escape XLT puts out 171 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque while getting 21/28 mpg. A 3.0-liter V6 is also available for the Escape XLT that, when managed by its standard six-speed automatic, throws down 240 hp and 223 lb-ft of torque at 19/25.
