Up a notch from the Edge SE is the lower-midlevel four-door, five-passenger, rear-wheel-drive 2010 Ford Edge SEL crossover. In addition to push-button fold-flat seats, this trim adds 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, front and overhead storage consoles, and a 6-CD changer with Sirius/XM satellite radio to the standard-features mix. Extra options for the SEL include voice-activated DVD navigation, rear-seat DVD entertainment, a power-operated Vista Roof, and a Class II Trailer Prep Package.

The 2010 Edge SEL comes equipped with the 3.5-liter VVT V6 and six-speed automatic transmission that power the entire lineup. This combo is good for 265 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque, and is rated by the EPA at 18/25 mpg. The 3.5-liter V6 will tow some 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.
