Overview of 2010 Dodge Charger R/T By Eric Tallberg
As its R/T designation implies, the 2010 Dodge Charger R/T can, with the appropriate available modifications, become a true road-and-track (R/T) beast. After all, this five-passenger sedan begins to flex its muscle with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that’s encouraged by its standard five-speed auto-manual transmission to put out 368 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque. Various available suspension tweaks, wheel upgrades, and badging produce one lean, mean, good-looking track (and road) machine.
The 2010 Charger R/T flaunts, as well, a few additional amenities over its SXT siblings including leather-trimmed bucket seats, dual-zone climate control, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and six Boston Acoustics speakers pounding out 276 watts of sound. Options and safety features for the R/T include all of those available with its SXT brethren, as well as the R-Package with 20-inch wheels, front and rear spoilers, heated front seats, and dual exhausts. Also available is the P-Package that includes a 368-watt amplifier, a Boston Acoustics subwoofer, and remote start.
This overview covers the R/T trim only.
