The top-shelf 2010 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ 1500 boasts such additional standard amenities as a power liftgate, 20-inch alloy wheels, heated, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, reclining second-row bucket seats, reverse-tilt, power-retracting exterior mirrors, remote garage door opener, rearview-camera-integrated DVD navigation system, memory for driver’s settings, and 10-speaker Bose premium audio. Power-retractable side-steps are among the additional options offered by this seven-passenger full-size SUV. There is no LTZ 2500 edition available.
The 2010 Suburban LTZ 1500 packs a standard 5.3-liter V8 that, when managed by its accompanying six-speed automatic transmission, puts out 320 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque. Despite variable valve timing and cylinder deactivation, the 5.3-liter V8 only manages some 15/21 mpg, but it can tow 8,100 pounds when properly equipped.
