Overview of 2010 Chevrolet Suburban LT 2500 By Eric Tallberg
The 2010 Chevrolet Suburban LT 2500 contributes an additional 32 hp and 47 lb-ft of torque to the lineup with its variable-valve-timed (VVT) 6.0-liter Flex Fuel (FFV) V8 engine and six-speed auto-manual transmission. All this power means that the hefty rear-wheel-drive full-size SUV will comfortably haul 9,600 pounds when properly equipped, and also means that it gulps either unleaded gasoline or E85 ethanol-based fuel in necessarily prodigious amounts.
Equipped similarly to its 3/4-ton 1500 sibling, the 2010 Suburban LT 2500 offers one of the roomiest cabins in the business - 137 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded - and impressive visibility as well as available 20-inch aluminum wheels, DVD navigation, a rear-view camera, power sunroof, and rear-seat DVD entertainment. Additional safety features for the LT 2500 include fog lights and available rain-sensing wipers.
This overview covers the LT 2500 trim only.
