Overview of 2010 Chevrolet Suburban LS 2500 4WD By Eric Tallberg
Pile the family or the crew and the camping gear or the heavy equipment into the four-wheel-drive (4WD) 2010 Chevrolet Suburban LS 2500 4WD, and head out overland to the campsite or a job site. All the creature comforts and safety features of the Suburban LS trim level, as well as on-demand 4WD with auto-locking hubs, electronic hi-low gear selection, and a center-mounted, mechanical locking differential ensure a safe and comfortable trek, no matter where the trail leads.
This trekking is made possible by the 2010 Chevy Suburban LS 2500 4WD’s 6.0-liter V8 and six-speed auto-manual transmission, which place 352 hp and 382 lb-ft of torque at the disposal of all four wheels when needed. Flex-Fuel capability (FFV), variable-valve-timing (VVT), and cylinder deactivation all conspire, with varying success, to keep the 6.0-lter V8 from becoming too demanding on the fuel budget while towing some 9,300 pounds of trailer.
This overview covers the LS 2500 4WD trim only.
