Pros

This car handles very well, I was surprised at the power  of the 4 cylinder engine.  The fuel economy is outstanding--no complaints at all.

Cons

I cannot think of one bad thing to say about the Malibu--I love it but need a larger vehicle for travel/pulling the boat/camper.

An Economical, Comfortable Ride! — The Malibu is comfortable, agile, and surprisingly powerful, but quiet at the same time. Shifts smoothly, no hesitation or bucking like you find with some 4 cyls. This is a solid handling car, its size belies the solid feel. And the fuel economy is awesome! I get 23- 25 mpg around town, and have gotten as much as 34-35 mpg highway.

A Gm Product To Be Proud Of, And Already Admired By Friends. — Provided what we wanted, a reliable car with fuel economy. Although we figured it a base model, the LS has so many standard features we didn't feel a need for more. It is the 4cyl. but the 4spd. trans. makes for plenty of performance. Build quality is excellent and the appearance is crisp and clean. The car is fun to drive and came with one-year free Onstar and 90 days free Xfm. Just an excellent package all-around. The Onstar comes with turn by turn directions--we have been touring Florida with it. We are away tomorrow, a Saturday.

Excellent To Date. — We have only had the car three weeks. The cabin is very tight, steering very responsive and excellent fuel economy. Considering it is 4 cylinder, the performance is very good.

Great Example Of American R&d Chevy Did Good On This One — I was concerned about a 4 cyl, but I wan ted the gas mileage - NO PROBLEM, the power is more than adaquate and the mileage is great. The standard features make it a step above the other cars in its class. The Malibu is a great example of the quality that can be produced when we invest in American R&D. I can't be happier with the investment.

Pros

Great looking, nicely appointed, good power for a 4 cylinder power plant, nice shifting 6 speed automatic transmission, fantastic fuel mileage for size and weight of this automobile. This is by far one of the best Chevrolet automobiles I have purchased. I would recomend it to anyone looking for an economical mid-sized sedan.

Cons

Rear visibility could be slightly improved and rear seating could be slightly enlarged.

Great Automobile For The Price. — Fantastic appearance inside and out.Great fuel mileage and ride.Good sound insulating of interior of car.Love the interior controls and handling of the car.Styling of this car won't go out of style anytime soon.Go purchase one.You won't regret it.Just purchased mine used about a week ago.Only has 13500 miles on it.Will definately keep this one until the wheels fall off.Looked at a lot of nice used units of other manufacturers with just about the same kind of quality.Drove a lot of them too.The MALIBU beat all of the others in its class hands down.

Meets Expectations, Good Value; Excellent Quality — This is my second Malibu LTZ. Loved the 2007 I traded in on this one so much I even sent a complimentary letter to the GM/UAW employees at the Kansas City Assembly Plant (something I rarely do and seldom feel that strongly about). Although the Ecotech 4 cylinder offers acceptable performance, I wish I would have ordered the V6 like the last one had.

Beautiful — This car is beautiful and immaculate. It is an Imperial Blue 2010 Malibu LTZ with Heated Black Leather Seats, 18" Alloys, and a Premium Sound System. Great car for cruising or commuting back and forth to work. Handles well and a beauty.

Great Car, Recommend It To Everyone Even If You Dont Have Kids — Love it, love it, love it. I wish I had went with the v6 but the ecotec 4 cyl. doesnt do too bad, plus it gets pretty fuel mileage. There is a slight popping noise only if youre on a gravel road, i think its struts. Very nice, it has paddle shifters and is a six speed so its super fun to drive. It has factory 17" wheels think im putting aftermarket 18s or 20s. Ive already put a K&N drop in filter want to get an Injen cold air intake with a Jet mass air flow sensor.
