Excellent First Impressions; Cautiously Optimistic That Reliability Will Match. By GentlemanJ
I bought my 2010 Nox LTZ on the last day of the Cash for Clunkers program. I traded in a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan with 140,000 miles. I had to drive to Michigan from Alabama to find one with the featu... Read More
This Car Was An Excellent Choice For Us And It Was Reasonably Priced. By Margot18
The Equinox handles very well. It has a smooth and quiet ride. The engine, even though I have the smaller engine with FWD, gives plenty of power on the highway and up hills. I haven't had my car that ... Read More

Overview of 2010 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ By Michael Perkins
The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ offers you the choice of a 2.4-liter four- or 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, both mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Here you get leather upholstery to match the leather-wrapped, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, which also holds controls for the Pioneer sound system with iPod adapter and Bluetooth. The driver’s seat has 8-way power and a memory system, which also governs the heated power mirrors. Further power features include windows, door locks, and remote keyless entry and start. The liftgate is also powered and complements the rear tinted glass and cargo cover that provide so much privacy. The front seats are heated, but automatic climate control will make sure things stay nice and temperate. A rearview camera is joined here by a rear-obstacle-detection system, in case your eyes (and mirrors) fail you. There are also daytime running lights, foglights, automatic headlights, and even an automatically dimming rearview to keep you out of the dark. Variable-intermittent front wipers and a rear wiper and washer combination with a defogger help there a bit as well, and illuminated visor mirrors don’t hurt, either. Don’t forget all the driver amenities like a tachometer and trip computer, cruise control, and compass. Safety is well taken care of, with antilock four-wheel disc brakes, traction and hill ascent control, anti-skid, and six standard airbags.
This overview covers the LTZ trim only.
