I'd Give It An A Or An A- By Kent375

The Equinox is fun, drives and handles very well. It has not needed any repairs of any kinds. The new styling for 2010 is great! I get comments or questions on it almost daily, usually in a parkin... Read More

Overview of 2010 Chevrolet Equinox LT2 AWD By Michael Perkins

With the luxury of the LT2 package and the confidence of all four 17-inch alloy wheels being powered, the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox LT2 AWD is a balanced offering. The standard engine is a 2.4-liter four cylinder, but a 3.0-liter V6 is optional, both coming with a six-speed automatic. Visibility won’t be an issue, with foglights, daytime running lights, automatic headlights, illuminated visor mirrors, an automatically dimming rearview, and a rearview camera. Not enough? Variable-intermittent front wipers and a rear wiper and washer combination work with a rear defogger to keep things clear. In addition to the all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, stability is added through traction control, hill ascent control, anti-skid, and four-wheel antilock brakes with brake assist. For comfort, there’s automatic climate control and a tilt/telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel with controls for the Pioneer sound system, which comes with an iPod adapter and Bluetooth. There’s also an 8-way power driver’s seat, tachometer, trip computer, cruise control, center console, and a compass. Look to dual front, front-side, and curtain side airbags for safety.

This overview covers the LT2 AWD trim only.
