Overview of 2010 Chevrolet Colorado LT3 Ext. Cab By Jesse Berger
The 2010 Chevrolet Colorado LT3 Extended Cab is all about style. The LT3 package upgrades the Colorado's exterior look with a special body-color trim package and 18-inch alloy wheels. Underneath a ZQ8 sport suspension package is tuned for on-road driving and delivers a more controlled ride than most pickups.
The standard 300-hp V8 engine displaces 5.3 liters and generates a healthy 320 lb-ft of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a standard four-speed automatic gearbox. The optional limited-slip rear end should be considered mandatory, given this engine's potency.
Interior features are more luxury oriented than lesser Colorado trims; the LT3 offers standard power accessories and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror. Standard safety equipment includes front, side, and curtain airbags along with antilock brakes and stability control.
This overview covers the LT3 Ext. Cab trim only.
