Overview of 2010 Chevrolet Colorado LT3 Crew Cab By Jesse Berger
The 2010 Chevrolet Colorado LT3 Crew Cab is built more for stylish errand-hopping than lumberyard work duty. As the top trim level in the Colorado range, the LT3 Crew Cab is offered only with rear-wheel drive (RWD). Special exterior trim and distinct 18-inch Midnight Silver alloy wheels upgrade its otherwise truck-like appearance.
The LT3 Crew features the largest available Colorado engine, the 5.3-liter V8. This powerful motor is borrowed from the larger Silverado truck and makes 300 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven via a smooth-shifting four-speed automatic transmission.
Inside its moderately spacious interior (the rear seats have 34.8 inches of legroom), six passengers are treated to standard power accessories and air conditioning. The optional power heated seats are a nice upgrade.
This overview covers the LT3 Crew Cab trim only.
