Overview of 2010 Chevrolet Colorado LT2 Ext. Cab By Jesse Berger
The 2010 Chevrolet Colorado LT2 Extended Cab represents a significant step up in both capability and comfort relative to the more basic Work Truck and LT1 trim levels. Riding on a 126-inch wheelbase, the LT2 Ext. Cab is a rear-wheel-drive-only pickup that can carry a stout 1,741-pound payload in its 6-foot bed.
The more heavily optioned LT2 trim level means this Colorado Ext. Cab gets the larger, 3.7-liter engine standard. This inline five-cylinder motor produces 242 hp and 242 lb-ft of torque and drives the rear wheels. Also standard is a four-speed automatic transmission that shifts unobtrusively, but has fewer ratios than the competition.
The Colorado LT2 Ext. Cab exterior benefits from chrome trim for the grille and bumpers, along with chromed 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior is dolled-up with power accessories, remote keyless entry, and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
This overview covers the LT2 Ext. Cab trim only.
