The 2010 Chevrolet Colorado LT1 Crew Cab offers the ability to seat six in (relative) comfort while providing good fuel economy. The LT1 is the lowest trim level available with the Crew Cab chassis and as such is powered by the base 2.9-liter inline four-cylinder (I4) engine. While adequate elsewhere in the range, here the small I4 is overwhelmed by the heavy four-door chassis, limiting payload rating to a low 1,272 pounds.

The interior of the LT1 Crew Cab offers plenty of room up front, though back-seat passengers will find legroom scarce. Standard air conditioning and an AM/FM/CD stereo with satellite radio make for a pleasant, if not luxurious, experience.

Standard safety features include antilock brakes with stability and traction control. New for 2010 are standard side curtain airbags.
