Overview of 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbocharged Coupe By Michael Perkins

Chevrolet’s Super Sport “SS” trim offers high-performance for the 2010 Cobalt, with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, four-wheel antilock disc brakes, traction control, a sport suspension, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Adding to the power doors, windows, and mirrors is a power sunroof to complement the air conditioning for a more natural approach. The CD and MP3 player is upgraded to a Pioneer system with an iPod adaptor, and it’s satellite-radio-ready. A leather-wrapped steering wheel has controls for the stereo and cruise, and one year of OnStar is standard, along with Bluetooth. Daytime running lights and automatic headlights are matched with foglights here, a unique option for the Cobalt SS. Driver-specific conveniences also include a tachometer and outside-temperature indicator and remote keyless entry. Variable-intermittent front wipers are met with a rear defogger to make sure no inclement weather impedes your driving.

Safety features like traction control, dual front and curtain-side airbags, a tire pressure monitor, and a theft-deterrent system are included here, as in all Cobalt trims, but an anti-skid system is exclusive to the SS.

This overview covers the SS Turbocharged Coupe trim only.
