2010 Chevrolet Cobalt Base Coupe Trim Overview

The Cobalt’s Base Coupe trim is indeed base, with cloth upholstery for its front bucket seats, 15-inch steel wheels, and a lack of power throughout. It does come with one year of OnStar, though, and satellite radio for the CD and MP3 player - which also comes with a standard digital-media player connection - but not much else. Automatic headlights are a nice feature at this level, especially when paired with the daytime running lights, as is an outside-temperature indicator.

A 2.2-liter inline four-cylinder (I4) engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. A tachometer is included at this level, and a combination of variable-intermittent front wipers and a rear defogger do window duty. Safety features include dual front and curtain-side airbags, a tire pressure monitor, and a theft-deterrent system.
