LS trims come standard with a front bench seat and thus seat six. Bucket seats are an option. Premium cloth upholstery, power windows and door locks, cruise control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel are standard.

The 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche LS 4WD, like the rest of the Avalanche line, features a midgate that can be dropped to add about 3 feet to the vehicle’s pickup bed. Part of the beauty of the midgate is that the switch to a longer bed can be made in less than a minute, Chevy says.

There are all sorts of options available for the Avalanche LS 4WD, including bucket seats, a rear parking assist system, a rear-view camera, heated driver's and passenger seats, and remote vehicle start.

The 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche LT can dress things up with optional leather-appointed seats. Bucket seats in front are standard. The sound system gets bumped up to a Bose seven-speaker system.

Bluetooth connectivity and OnStar with navigation capability are standard in the Avalanche LT. Heated seats for the driver and passenger are available. A luggage rack is an option.

A Z81 off-road package with heavy-duty suspension, skid plates, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and heavy-duty engine and transmission cooling are available for the 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche LT 4WD. Foglights are standard on the LT.

The rear parking assist system, which detects objects behind the vehicle, becomes standard in the LT. A rear-view camera is available.
