The 2010 Buick LaCrosse CX trim comes nicely equipped and offers a lot of bang for the buck. As the base trim in the LaCrosse line, the CX will eventually be offered with an economical inline four-cylinder (I4) engine. For now power comes courtesy of a 3.0-liter V6 that makes 255 hp and 217 lb/ft of torque. Shifting duties are handled by a six-speed automatic that drives the front wheels only.
The interior of the LaCrosse CX features a stylish, sweeping design penned in the new GM China design studio. Comfort and convenience features are generous, with power windows and locks, a power driver’s seat, and single-zone air-conditioning standard. The cloth seats are comfortable if not especially lavish, and legroom is excellent for all seating positions.
Standard safety features include six airbags, antilock brakes, and electronic stability control. The 2010 LaCrosse has fared very well in government crash testing.

The 2010 Buick LaCrosse CXS is chock full of standard luxury features that distinguish it as the top trim in its range. Ablaze with chrome (even on its 18-inch alloy wheels), the LaCrosse CXS wears its new styling proudly and features a sumptuous interior with perforated leather seats.
Powering the LaCrosse CXS is the larger, 3.6-liter V6 that makes a healthy 280 hp. The larger V6 is smooth and moves the big sedan around admirably, but the extra power also means CXS trims are front-wheel drive only. A six-speed automatic transmission handles shifting duties, while standard traction and stability control keep the LaCrosse on an even keel in emergency maneuvers.
The interior of the LaCrosse CXS is loaded with fancy hardware, including standard heated and ventilated seats and a powerful Harman Kardon CD stereo with 11 speakers. Passenger space is generous, and the materials are first rate.
