2010 Audi Q7 TDI Quattro Premium Review
ProsGreat road handling, excellent acceleration, ride quality is 100 X smoother and safe than any other Large SUV especially at Hwy speeds. Suburbans & Tahoe are not even in the same league. Be careful though because if you do not watch you speed you will be at 100 mph when you think you are going 60 mph. Great fuel economy for a vehicle of this size, typically getting 25 to 26 on the Hwy at 74 mph. Fuel tank hold 25 gallons and give me a range of 550 miles. Last weekend my son and I easily drove from Houston to Fredericksburg, TX on a tank, a round trip of 538 miles. According to the computer we still had 20 miles in the tank when back home. ConsThe trade off for the handling and ride quality is excessive tire wear. You will not get much beyond 22K miles on a set of tires and or brakes. Rear hatch switch and closing mechanism is not straight forward and tends to stick, this results in the door either not opening fully or not closing fully. There has not been a mechanical issue but its not obvious how the system works, at least to a non German. Only other little beef is the back cargo space is just not quite wide or long enough to fit a 4' x 8' piece of plywood.

Audi Q7 Very Good Choice But!!!! — Overall very good vehicle if you aren't afraid of the price and higher running costs. What you save in fuel is eaten up by tires and brakes; however, if you want to lower your carbon foot print, at least in terms of fuel consumed, then you can feel good. Primary Use: Family transportation

Buy One If You Can. — Beautiful car. Quick SUV. Shocks people with the amazing power in the motor. Great for towing, also. Awesome Suv — Pros : Performance,design,equipment, everything. driving is very fun, interior and exterior makes a good quality materilas, good handlanding, breaking distances very short,firt of all German Technology, Cons: high fuel,expensive materials, not enough parking area a a:D Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
