My09 — It peppy, solid with heavy build and solid doors for excellent side-impact safety. Gas mileage is good and it could be cheaper but you get what you pay for. Its fun to drive and the 5-speed on the 2.4i is very smooth and easy to use. Just wished it wasn't so buffered to give it that "luxury" feel. A little more growl would really set it off, but a lil aftermarket work could easy get that done

It Is By Far, One Of The Best Cars Volvo Ever Built. Not One Problems, Except Tires In 24,000mi. — By far the best car I have ever owned. There is nothing negative for me to report except the factory tires got wore out at 24,000 miles.The six speed manual is excellent and I get an average of32 to35mpg upto 45mpg..... by coasting in neutral... No repairs, squeks,very fun & comfortable to drive long distance. Superb curve handler. People constantly comment on the car and how much they like it. Free oil change by volvo to 30,000 miles. It Makes People Go "awwww" Other Than "ewwww". — For its engine size appeal this car is generally quick. You feel tight and solid sitting in it and the simplicity of Swedish, nothing as complicated as the box from Germany. Many features hidden and yet when you found them they are very useful. The power, however, is enough when transporting just yourself, oh well, when comparing to the SL500(2003) I've driven. However, the true tone and passion of this car is the character. Volvo cars are always appearing in romantic movies. It's the character of mankind, emotions and modestness and yet it's quality. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Great For Everyday Driving — Amazing Grip, its like a fraking cat and if you tune up the car a bit and make the wheels wider (225 is ebough) it will be more than amazing. Bottom line, its a good for every day and if you like you can tune it a bit. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||
