ProsLooks, performance Consdrivers seat too narrow for comfort.

Very Nice For The Money — I like the way it handles, the way it looks, inside and out. I've always wanted a hatchback. It is fun to drive and 29.5 mpg is big improvement over my H-2 which now sits in my driveway. The 5-cylinder motor is very peppy. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsSporty, quick, fun Consgear box

Vw Rabbit — It rides nice, has decent acceleration, well insulated from outside noise, good speaker system, heated seats and a moon roof. The only thing I have found that I don't like is the gear box. When shifting from reverse to first I sometimes hit 3rd because Reverse is to the left of 1st. Other than that no complaints. What A Car Should Be — really fast car which handles very well at corners and very cheap to upgrade for right kinda price. build quality is good compared to other cars around the same price tag like soft touch dash board. i am driving this car for last three years and cost of ownership is $0, since VW offers free service for 3 years. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsLots of room inside ConsMy hubcaps!

Vw Is Sweeeeeet. — Does exactly what I need it to do. Its a great starter car, for those who are new to purchasing vehicles. It is a cheaper vehicle...and the interior is outstanding. Everything on the inside of the car fits, nothing seems out of place. Well designed, great materials all around. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsGood on gas, warms up fast in the winter ConsTrunk requires a lot of oomph to close

Perfect 2nd Car — Great little city car. Warms up really fast in the cold Canadian winter! Has enough get up and go for daily driving, but certainly isn't a performance car. Great on gas - it takes regular. The back hatch requires a lot of effort to close it properly - there's been several occasions I've had to get back out to close it properly.

ProsEverything ConsWish I could afford an Audi A3!

Great In Every Way. — This precise German assemblage has been thoroughly thought out. Very spacious interior. Super easy to park with an outrageous turning radius. The engine is a perky 2.5, which lets you shred when you feel like it. My favorite thing: pressing the VW emblem to open the trunk! My only regret is that the Audi A3 seems so much more alluring: a Rabbit with all-wheel drive and F1 racing clutch. Wish I could afford it!

Prosi bought this car for my son. he was looking to replace his corolla and that is what we were focused on. I never was a fan of a hatchback look so never would have considered it. it was on the lot and we gave it a test drive. That is all it took! This car is fun to drive. Peppy, handles well, smooth ride! I am jealous. Consfor me it is a little to low, my son likes it and thinks my camry is too high. Myson complains about the higher cost of the oil changes

Zippy Surprise Ride — One test drive and you will see. great pick up, easy to merge onto highways, just enough cargo space and the back seat is comfortable. This car feels solid on the road even in the winter in upstate ny. I am thinking of getting one for myself. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsFun to drive, engine note, interior. ConsCan get a little thirsty, and RATTLES.

Killer Rabbit — I've owned the car for about 10 months now. As a daily driver, it is a fun car to drive. Fuel economy is so so, especially for such a small car (because of the 5 cylinder) Build quality of the car is excellent, but like any VW it does rattle a little bit. Primary Use: Family transportation
