Pros

CVT

Cons

Gas mileage in city is only about 25 mpg

Love The Car, Just Wish I Got 30 Mpg In The City — I bought this car purely for the CVT. Wanted an automatic and all the other compacts whine at 3000+ RPM going highway speed. It has a decent amount of horsepower for a compact car (2.0 L, 140 HP). When I first bought the car the brakes were misaligned. After alignment, they squeaked, but the dealer was eager to resolve the issue and made a good impression as a result. Cost of ownership is low, I usually spend about $100/month on gas, and drive about 700-800 miles each month. Besides the brakes, it hasn't needed any other work. It handles well and has a good turn radius. It struggles to pass and accelerate into traffic without punching the gas pedal, but I guess that's the nature of the CVT. It does great on the highway (easily 30+ mpg) and rides at a comfortable and quiet 2000 RPM going 70 mph.

Pros

Great car to own for a decent price!

Cons

The only thing that I hate about this car is the height(tall) & I think it should have 18" rims instead of the stock 17's .

Fun — The only mod that I currently have is exhaust, so there isn't a whole lot for me to say at the moment. Great acceleration, good braking, handles like a glove & the stock Rockford audio system is pretty damn good! the gas mileage far exceeds my old '03 spec V which is great! I love driving it & cant wait for the mods!

Fantastic For The Price And Great Overall! — Amazing performance for such a small car. Terrific workmanship, even though the wheel covers could be better. Love the styling! Aggressive and refined at the same time! Paying so much less for gas than my SUV and currently haven't had to have any maintenance done yet. A great driver to! I love it!

Cons

Good Price, Good Looks, Great Ride — Our Sentra is very quiet on the road which makes it a much smoother ride. Its braking is pretty good. It was a great price worth the money. This car is not the most fun of cars but it gets you places.

Nissan '09 Sentra — This car is awesome and unbelievably quite! It can accelerate brake and turn at beautiful speeds. this car is built as a commuting car, but it's got alot of the right stuff to become a sports car (with some serious engine work)

Great Car Great Price — Nissans are great cars all around. Also, with the SL package, you get a lot of car for not that much money. Looks like a maxima but drives like an compact. Love it and I would recommend it to anyone

2009 Nissan Sentra — Performance was great for the price, nothing like that for $20,000+, great build quality, gets great milleage for 177hp engine 8.7L/100km, it is the ultimate budget pocket rocket, i would like the stability control and traction control but i think that will be added soon

Very Happy With It — great gas mileage, very comfortable, love the many features bluetooth, heated seats , outside temperture, trip computer, sunroof. rated 10 out of 10. acceleration is very smooth with the cvt transmission. abs brakes are standard, interior/exterior styling is very good.
