Overview of 2009 Nissan Murano LE AWD By Eric Tallberg

Standing at the top of the Murano trim lineup, the 2009 Nissan Murano LE AWD is a five-door, five-passenger crossover featuring full-time all-wheel drive (AWD) and scads of standard appearance, comfort, and convenience features. Beginning with 20-inch alloy wheels, the ’09 Murano LE AWD also offers a roof rack, leather upholstery, heated front seats, memory for the driver’s seat, steering wheel, and mirror settings, a power liftgate, universal garage door opener, Bose premium audio with a 6-CD changer and 11 speakers, Sirius/XM satellite radio, a rear-view backup camera, and Bluetooth hands-free communications technology. Options for the ’09 Murano LE AWD include a double-panel moonroof, rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and touch-screen DVD navigation system, while standard safety features include ABS, traction and stability control, and six airbags.

The ’09 Nissan Murano LE AWD, like each of its siblings, offers 64 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, and is powered by the standard combination of a 3.5-liter variable-valve-timed (VVT) V6 engine and continuously variable transmission (CVT). This powertrain puts out 265 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque, potent enough to tow 3,500 pounds when properly equipped. Nissan recommends using premium gasoline, which the ’09 Murano LE AWD consumes at 18/23 mpg.

This overview covers the LE AWD trim only.
