2009 Nissan Armada SE 4WD Trim Overview

Ready when you need it, the on-demand four-wheel-drive system in the 2009 Nissan Armada SE 4WD comes with a limited-slip and locking center differential. It features high and low gearing, meaning this full-size SUV can be taken off-road. This trim also comes with skid plates and offers 9.8 inches of ground clearance. The heavy-duty SUV gets its grunt from a 317-hp, 5.6-liter DOHC V8 and 5-speed automatic that deliver 385 ft-lbs of torque at 3,400 RPM. Adding the optional trailer hitch lets you tow up to 9,000 pounds. It has 18-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires that can be upgraded to all-terrain tires.

The eight-seat 2009 Armada SE 4WD has not yet been rated, but is fully packed with traction and stability control, 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes, electronic brake assist, dual front-side and side curtain airbags for all three rows, rear parking sensors, and front and rear stabilizer bars. A tire monitor, automatic headlights, and daytime running lights are all standard, and both foglights and an auto-dimming rearview mirror can be added. The SUV seats up to eight people in three rows, with second- and third-row benches that split-fold flat. The front passenger seat also folds flat. Second-row seats recline and feature an armrest that doubles as a storage compartment. The cargo area starts at 20 cubic feet and opens up to 97 with the seats down. A power outlet and tie-downs are standard. The rear window opens separately from the liftgate. A power liftgate is optional. If you need more room, roof rails are standard and cross bars can be added.

Full power features include an 8-way power driver's seat and remote entry. Wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, rear controls for the audio and climate, a trip computer, leather trim, and heated mirrors add an upscale feel. An 8-speaker 6-CD player comes with an MP3 input jack and satellite radio. Standard convenience features include tilt and power steering, front and rear power outlets, cupholders for each row, intermittent front and rear wipers, a tachometer, a temperature gauge, and a compass. LE-type options add a sunroof, leather upholstery, a 4-way power passenger seat, a garage opener, and a DVD player with wireless headphones.
