2009 Nissan Armada LE Trim Overview

Basically everything available as an option for the SE trim is now standard in the 2009 Nissan Armada LE. This luxury full-size SUV adds a long list of convenience and safety features to keep passengers happy. The rear-wheel-drive SUV seats eight in three rows. Both second and third rows split-fold flat (40/20/40 and 60/40), as does the front passenger seat, allowing for up to 97 cubic feet of cargo space. Second-row seats also recline, and captain's chairs are optional for this row. The cargo area features tie-downs and a power outlet, and the LE trim comes with a power liftgate. A roof rack is also standard and can be equipped with crossbars.

It's probably easier to list what the 2009 Armada LE doesn't have. Building on the SE, the LE gives you heated front seats, leather upholstery, remote start, and a garage opener. Both front seats can be power-adjusted (8-way driver, 6-way passenger), with driver's memory settings for the seat and mirrors. Wood trim joins leather accents. The sound system is upgraded to a 12-speaker Bose system, and the 6-CD changer features a remote. Audio controls can still be found on the wheel and in the second row. The system has an MP3 input jack and satellite radio. These upgrades join the full power setup, remote entry, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear climate control, a trip computer, heated mirrors, and Bluetooth. Intermittent front and rear wipers, a temperature readout and compass, three power outlets (front, rear, and cargo), and tilt and power steering are also standard. Available options include a DVD player, a navigation system with hard drive, a sunroof, and a tray and organizer for the cargo area.

In terms of safety, the LE starts with 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, traction and stability control, front and rear stabilizer bars, and dual front-side and side curtain airbags for all rows. But it adds larger 20-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires and a full-size spare, retractable mirrors with turn signals, auto-dimming rearview and side mirrors, and a rearview camera. It also adds front parking sensors to the existing rear ones. Foglights join the automatic halogen headlamps. The double wishbone front and rear suspension now comes with a self-leveling suspension for different road conditions. All this is powered by a 32-valve, 5.6-liter DOHC V8 engine and 5-speed automatic that deliver 317 hp and 385 ft-lbs of torque. The 2009 Armada LE comes standard with a trailer hitch and can tow up to 9,100 pounds.
