2009 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SE Trim Overview

The 2009 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SE offers a more powerful engine and a wider range of standard features than the entry-level Altima Coupe 2.5 S. Power comes in the form of a 3.5-liter, low-emissions V6, which produces 270 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The V6 engine features variable valve timing and direct ignition and links to a six-speed manual transmission, although drivers can opt for Nissan's Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). Fuel economy numbers for the V6 check in at 19/27 city/highway mpg with the manual transmission and 19/26 with the CVT transmission. The front-wheel-drive Altima 3.5 SE rides on beefy 18-inch wheels and a sport-oriented suspension, with retuned front struts and a thicker front stabilizer bar than in the 2.5 S's suspension.
