Love My Zoom Zoom — I've had this car for 4+ months and 6,000 miles now - the handling is like nothing I've ever seen in a sedan, very fast for a 4 cylinder, and she looks great - lots of extras in the i-touring package, overall a great deal and a great car! Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsPractical, fun, basic luxury, and classy too for a compact. ConsYou can afford something bigger than a compact and more luxurious (and sportier, faster and more powerful).

It's An Excellent Car. Worth The Money. — In terms of appearance, I find the new 2010 Mazda3 less attractive than the old 2009 Mazda3. The there too many lines on the 2010 car and the corners on the lights pertrude out too much like eyeliner on a girl. I'm not saying its bad; it's just doesn't fit my taste. In terms of performance, I am very satisfied with my 2009 Mazda 3. I love fast sports cars and super cars. However, there is such a thing as speed limit. And unless I take the car to the track, I have no place to get everything out of the car. So in my opinion it is better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. Thus, 156 horses is enough for getting around. The car stock suspensions are not too stiff, so the ride is very comfortable. The engine sound isn't robust like a muscle car, yet has a reasonable roar. The handling of the car is very smooth and love going around bends and turns. The response of the car is remarkable for its class. It isn't loose like a corolla and won't challenge you back like a civic. Through both corolla and civic are both well established and good cars in their own right. With regards to the interior, I am inpressed. When I realized that I couldn't afford more than a Mazda3 at the time, I wasn't too pleased. However, once I saw what the the car had to offer, I must say I'll have a tough time chosing my next car. I got the GT sport: and that included the Leather seats (and heated front ones) and steering wheel, with a 6 disk CD changer and BOSE speaker system. The acoustics are great and can handle the loudness and vibration of the sounds with driver and passengers shaking in the car simultaneously and seeing doubles of everything. I didn't get the navigation/GPS package so I can't tell you anything about it. To add to this the hatchback offers plenty of cargo space. This past July I move as well as helping my uncles and cousins move too. I was surpise how spacious it was when I dropped the back seats. I was able to carry just as much if not more compared to my uncles' camry and Grand Cherokee(NO JOKE!!!). For me this car is a perfect combination of practicality, fun, basic luxury, and getting it in black with stock 18inch rims from Mazda, classy too. This Is A Sporty, Affordable, Fun To Drive Car. — If you get this vehicle in the 17 inch wheel category the tires are expensive. Other than that minor detail, I absolutely love this car! The gas mileage is awesome, it zips around with plenty of power, and it looks great! I would highly recommend this vehicle! Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsIt's pleasantly zippy, and makes driving fun. ConsThe cupholders are slightly awkward - putting a large drink in one of them is asking for difficulty with the parking brake lever

Driving Is Fun Again! — This is the first car I've owned, and I'm very happy with it. "Zoom zoom" isn't just a catch phrase - it really is a way of life, and that shows in this wee beast. It was a rental in its previous life, but other than a few little marks here and there from regular use, it's in excellent shape. It accelerates like a bat out of hell, the brakes are excellent, and it's VERY responsive. One thing I have noticed is that there is a bit more road noise than I expected, but after doing some research, I've determined that it's probably the tires - it came to me shod with Riken tires, and those are pretty well-known for great handling but increased noise. This is one of the few cars I've driven that has actually fit me well, as far as adjusting the seat - I'm fairly short, and the CR-V I learned to drive in was NOT comfortable at all. I had to drag the seat perilously close to the wheel. There's none of that in this car - I can sit back, tilt the wheel down to where I want it, and still be able to see my instrument panel, which I couldn't in many other cars. I've also been slightly spoiled by having a set of controls for the stereo on the left side of the wheel - it's nice having those handy. The MP3 player/iPod input in the center console is a nice addition, too. My only peeve with this car came exactly a week after I got it - a recall came out for a power steering issue, and my car started exhibiting the symptoms the very next day; it lost power steering as I was trying to park at the curb. I took it in, and had the power steering pump replaced, in accordance with the recall, and there hasn't been a problem since.

Its Fast — Performance - This car has good perfomance it you like speed this is the car for you it has good handeling qualities and it stickes too the road cornering seems good no problem there. . . Build quality - i would say it is of good quality for it has leather bucket seats real sporty look around the car with a nice body kit already installed standard and interior wise it looks GOOD im crazy over the interior seeing that myne is black and ready trimming that goes with the car..... Cost . . well when driving fast you must expect that your pocket has to bee fair for the petrol cost you get 8 km to the 1L of petrol when driving fast but other than that you get so 12 km to 1L but also to take in consideration it is a 2.3L turbo car. this is the first car that i havnt realy had a problem with rattels and so forth and maintance wise i dont realy know at this stage the cost but i should not been that much you looking at avg maintance cost like any other car Primary Use: Commuting to work

Mazda 3 Mps With Areo Kit — i love everything about my car it has half leather seats, 280 bhp, top speed is about 180mph but they can go faster, it has good handling, the ride is good, the looks are amazing, shame it only has 18'' alloys(but they do look massive on a small car) and inside with the music on not very loud you cant here the road noise(thts when you goin about 60mph and above.) She Is Amazing — My review on this car is that it is amazing. The performace is amazing as well. The brakes are awsome and have saved me a couple of times. And the turn radius is redicuolus. As for apperance, well just look at one. They look sporty and are not gender specific. And they are just a great car to drive and to sup up. Nothing But Mazda3 — My priorities about a car is attractiveness in appearance, solidity, flexibility and pleasure of driving which Mazda3 Touring gives all to me. ProsFantastic value, exciting driving dynamics, styling ConsSo-so MPG, spotty build quality, down on power compared to fellow Japanese compacts

Great Little Car — Performance: Zoom. Mazda's advertising slogan fits perfectly for the Mazda3. The suspension and chassis tuning are spot on. The steering is well weighted with good feel, and the shifter is smooth. Very entertaining to drive. Engine performance is adequate but torquey. Build quality: I've had several services done to address minor creaks and rattles. Otherwise, the interior is now rattle-free and the materials are high quality. Appearance: Gorgeous. Just look at pictures. Cost: MPG is okay, nothing to write home about. Interior: Phenomenal interior for price segment. What cars can you get leather seats, seat warmers, HID headlights, rain sensing wipers, 17" wheels, and a Bose audio system for under $22k? |
