Car Is Good. Dealership Is By Far The Worst I Have Ever Seen In 38 Years Of Purchasing New Autos — Sunroof rattled when new. Windshield wipers occasionally make uncommanded sweep when in auto mode. Dealership put 697 miles on auto and had it for 24 days fixing sunroof rattle. 373 miles were put on before auto was taken into shop. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

I Love This Vehicle — So far I'm really impressed with my RX350. I have two huge dogs and my daughter plays soft ball year round. Her equipment and the dogs fit quite well. I changed from an Infinity FX 35 which I also liked however I find the ride of the Lexus to be much smoother. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Good For An Suv. Not So Good If You Prefer A Car. — Lexus/Toyota reliability. Vague ride. Very soft, but little road feel. Don't feel confident on twisty roads. Live in a mountainous area. Interior is exceptional quality. Plush seats. Very roomy back seat. But not sporty or fun to drive. Is okay to tow a light trailer. Used it to pull the 5x8 uhaul, 2000 miles. It handled the job fine, no worse for wear. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

Great — Performance is great. acceleration has quick response. Handling is smooth and braking has good stop. The quality is very nice. I like this car. It has a remote starting engine and snow lock system and so on. Design is nice. I chose blue black color that color is perfect. but cost is little bit expensive. Gas mileage is 17 miles per gallon on city road and 24 miles on Highway. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Well Designed Exterior. Interior Could Use Some Rethinking. — Peerformance has been excellent. The build quality is also wonderful. The appearance on the outside is great. As far as the inside there needs to be some storage for coins and also the outlets and usb ports need to be placed in a more open ares such as under the shift knob. I have not owned it long enough to evaluate the costs of maintainance. The car is definately fun and relaxing to drive. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

My 09rx350 Experience — 2009RX350. Lease new. build quality noticeably inferior to 2001RX300 we had. Transmission shifts weird. Real concern, engine noise-akin to failing engine. Began at 4000 miles. Our second Lexus, pleased in general. Will lease another one. Being built in Canada is possible cause for lesser build quality versus our previous 2001RX300-which was built in Japan. The engine knock/noise is of obvious concern, however, these are very good vehicles and in general we are pleased. Performance is fine with us Build quality-already covered that no repairs or broken pieces, no squeaks, an occasional rattle in dash board. Mileage as of this writing: 13000 appearance: interior is somewhat bland, the 2001 RX was definitely a better interior. exterior: not bad, it is unique. worthy of a High End auto. Cost ownership: nothing, just the regular maintenance. Fun factor: fun to drive, I can't say, but is it enjoyable and satisfying, yes. would I recommend this vehicle to a friend-absolutely. | ||

Love It — I turned in my 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and got a Lexus. I didn't need a large SUV anymore but I did not want to get a car. On a whim I went to Lexus and I got a great deal. I drove off with a new car and I was stunned on my drive home. Stunned that I got a new car and at how easy the whole experience was. The RX handles extremely well and the interior is a dream. Beautifully appointed. I have had it for 4 days. Braking, acceleration and overall handling feels great. Several colleges are impressed and 1 is on his way to the dealership (he currently has a BMW). Highly recommend. So much fun to drive. |
