Overview of 2009 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster By Michael Perkins

Lamborghini’s 2009 Murcielago Roadster draws one major complaint, and sadly it revolves around the car's removable soft top. Apparently not that easy to remove and even harder to re-attach, the top is not recommended for use above 100mph by Lambo, who worries that it will simply fly off above that speed. These two-seat convertibles are being made in a limited quantity of fifty units, and all feature the same Grigio Telesto exterior with gray bodywork and bright orange highlights. Inside, occupants enjoy quilted leather upholstery and special leather trim as well as Alcantara for the driver, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and a navigation system in its asymmetrical cockpit. Outside, xenon headlights show the way, and its retuned, height-adjustable suspension, traction control, and four-wheel antilock disc brakes keep everything in check. All of this is motivated by a 632-hp, 6.5-liter V12 pushing power to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.

This overview covers the Roadster trim only.
