2009 Kia Rondo LX V6 Trim Overview

The 2009 Kia Rondo LX V6 compact minivan offers a boost in power and a few new standard features for 2009. Although the LX V6's 2.7-liter V6 engine essentially carries over from the previous year, it now produces 192 hp, an increase of 10 hp over the previous year's engine. The V6 develops 184 lb-ft of torque and links to a five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The V6 posts fuel economy numbers of 18/26 mpg, according to EPA estimates. Standard performance- and safety-related features include antilock brakes and Kia's Electronic Stability Control program, as well as six standard airbags.

Inside, the Rondo LX V6 receives a few new standard features, including Sirius satellite radio, an auxiliary input jack, and a USB port, which are now included with the six-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system.
