2009 Jeep Wrangler Trims

Rubicon

Avg. Price: $24,571

The 2009 Jeep Wrangler 2 Dr Rubicon has all the amenities of the Sahara and then some, and also gets some major performance upgrades. The 2 Dr Rubicon does share a drivetrain with both the base 2 Dr X and the 2 Dr Sahara, but it uses a sturdier four-wheel-drive system in the 4:1 Rock-Trac Part-Time 4WD system, which allows for greater control and torque at lower speeds. The 2 Dr Rubicon also features a performance suspension, Tru-Lok Electronic locking front and rear differentials, and an electronic front sway bar disconnect, which allows the wheels to drop and compress up to an additional 20 percent for increased wheel articulation.

The Rubicon 2 Dr also adds frame-mounted body sill guards (“rock rails”) and the Sunrider Soft Top, which lets the driver partially open the top with ease. It shares a sound system and seating with the Sahara.

Sahara

Avg. Price: $22,189

The 2009 Jeep Wrangler 2 Dr Sahara shares a drivetrain and four-wheel-drive system with the base 2 Dr X, but makes some significant additions to the interior and a few to the exterior. The interior upgrades include a 368-watt, seven-speaker Infinity sound system (including a subwoofer) for the AM/FM/CD stereo, one-year of Sirius Satellite Radio, air conditioning, power windows with express down for the driver, a security alarm, remote entry, full-length floor console, deep tint suncreen windows, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and premium stain-repellent cloth for the seats, with a height-adjustable driver’s seat. The exterior upgrades include 18-inch machined cast aluminum wheels with P255/70R18 OWL on-/off-road tires, foglamps, tubular side steps, two front tow hooks, and one rear tow hook. The performance upgrades include speed control and an electronic stability program.

Unlimited Rubicon 4WD

Avg. Price: $28,043

It also has the same sound system and seating as the 4 Dr Unlimited Sahara 4WD and adds these features: an electronic front sway bar disconnect, a performance suspension, speed control, rock rails, and 17-inch machined cast-aluminum wheels with LT255/75R17 BSW off-road tires.
