Buy It And Enjoy — The Car is has excellent performance in the sense its quick to 60 and almost as quick back to zero (get factory brakes when you need ones) the car is amazing to drive the sporty performance and the amazing comfort makes it a car to drive every day while enjoying it. The gas mileage is not great and i fill up more than i like but i dont drive so fuel conscious and i live in NYC. otherwise bet car i ever had Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsWhooping a Mustang's ass. ConsIffy handling when pushed. Balance is off and is unpredictable.

Great Car, But There Are Better Ones Out There. However, Not Too Much Is Better For The Great Price — Performance- Blisteringly fast, stops on a dime. Handling is not so great because the car breaks loose easily. I think it's more due to crappy AS rubber though. The car IS fun to drive though and is amazing in the snow. Car has a great build quality. Leaps and bounds better than the 1st generation Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsPerformance, Styling and Luxury Comfort ConsThe center console is a little small.

My G37 Coupe — Awesome car. Great performance and smooth luxurious ride as well. It has tons of power and the engine sound make a nice roar when you step on it; but when you're cruising at highway speed the sound is much more dampened. It's very balanced overall in it's qualities. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsAwesome power, handling and brakes. Excellent build quality, beautiful dash, easy to use & maintain. Very nice stereo ConsExterior styling a bit dated, maybe bland. The back seat is - at best - adequate but on par with its competition. This is a sports sedan, not a family sedan.

G37 - Best Blend Of Performance, Reliability And Luxury — Prior to this, I was driving a 2002 BMW 530i. I bought it used when it had 72k miles on it. It was my first German car. I loved it's performance and looks. Phenomenal! However, being old, it was frequently needing minor repair & maintenance and - having been originally designed in 1997 - did not have the requisite creature comforts and conveniences of today's cars. I thus wanted to find something similar in size and performance to that old 530i, but that would be more reliable, require less frequent maintenance and had those 'creature comforts.' Thus, I needed to find a Japanese BMW. To me, the G37 is the only car that fits that bill. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsGood power, AWD, and reliable. ConsHandling needs work, auto transmission shifting very unpredictable
35
Just Ok — Handling not even close to BMW...could stand to be about an inch lower. Auto transmission shifting very unpredictable....needs a manual offering with the AWD option and it would be much much better. Looks OK from the front, but very lame from the back....needs a significant update in styling...if they modeled the Audi A4 rear, that would be better. The coupe looks nicer, but loses the appeal in the sedan.

ProsSporty handling sports sedan with winter capability ConsInfiniti dealership maintenance cost ridiculous

Sports Sedan — + 7 speed transmission reponsive + 328hp and fuel efficient + handling at the top of class + AWD capability while still handles in the dry - stock rotors warp when pushed - back seat/trunk not very big for family - Infiniti maintenance cost very expensive Primary Use: Family transportation

This Car Has The Perfect Balance Of Performance And Comfort, Hands Down — I had a G35 in 2006. I thought that car was awesome. A few years later, the car is unbelievably up on power, handling, and stopping power. I can feel the 328HP, and can only imagine what a couple of bolt on goodies could do :) Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsPerformance ConsRidiculously shallow trunk

Made To Be Driven — It's a big engine with 4 wheels and leather seats... that's it. It's not meant to be super refined or plush. It's a driver's car that'll punish you if you make a mistake. It's more of a supped up Nissan rather than a true luxury coupe. The interior is definitely not at the same level as Audi or BMW, but it's so much more fun to drive. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
