2009 Hyundai Sonata SE Trim Overview

As the performance trim in its lineup, the 2009 Hyundai Sonata SE adds a stiffer sports suspension and larger front and rear stabilizer bars. This trim features a 175-hp, 2.4-liter DOHC inline four, paired with a 5-speed sport-shift manual transmission. It gets 168 ft-lbs of torque at 4,500 RPM. This spacious midsize sedan rides on larger 17-inch alloy wheels with performance tires. A rear spoiler adds some style and improves handling, while standard automatic halogen headlights and foglights light the way.

Interior ugrades that accompany the SE include faux wood trim and leather accents on the steering wheel and shifter. The front cloth seats get leather bolsters for a sportier look. An 8-way power driver's seat is standard, along with a trip computer and both tilt and telescopic steering. Audio controls for the 6-speaker CD/MP3 player join cruise control on the steering wheel.
