Great Value — This is a very comfortable and practical small car. It has all the safety features needed, like head and side airbags, and anti-lock braking. It takes only a few dollars to fill up, and goes a long way on a tank of gas. The Fit seats 4 comfortably, with a surprisingly roomy luggage area behind the back seats. If needed, the rear seats fold down very easily, which provides an even more amazingly large cargo area. All in all, this car’s comfort, cargo capacity and gas mileage make it a good practical fit for any of today’s drivers.

Well Designed, Economical, Roomy 4 Door Hatchback With Legendary Honda Reliability. — Our 2009 Honda Fit has been a fun reliable companion since we bought it new. Our Fit has been a commuter car, pet transporter, cargo hauler, RV TOAD, and weekend getaway enabler. Honda did a wonderful job designing the "magic" rear seats. With the seats in their upright position you can "fit" two actual adults in the back of the car without the front seat passengers having to eat the super long dash. With the rear seats fully collapsed into the floor, the "fit" transforms into a wonderfully roomy cargo/pet hauler with a flat floor. Sure our little four cylinder automatic Fit could use a bit more power and it does get a bit buzzy on the highway, but it's hard to beat our experience of 36mpg average with a mix of city and highway driving. Handling is decent, although feedback is a bit numb, and braking is respectable, if a bit spongy at times. One feature in the automatic sport is the ability to "sport shift" the automatic using F1 style steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. This feature can be slightly amusing but at the end of the day is a bit of a waste of time since the shifting isn't especially crisp when using the paddle shifters and the little four banger, while providing admirable fuel economy, is a bit buzzy and under-powered. At the end of the day we love our little Honda Fit. For us it simply "Fit"s our lifestyle and needs.

Pros

This would be great starter car for someone for any type of situation

Cons

The base model does not come with auto lock doors or Cruse Control for this year...And I dont like the fact that its not disk brakes all around..even for the sport

Great Buy You Will Not Be Disapointed With This Car — I have the Manual Transmission in mine and i think it responds a whole lot better then the Auto Transmission...I test drove both and I was happy with what I got. I love the very versitile way you can configure the interior to Fit almost what ever you need. I get about 38 MPG avg but I also like to get on the gas.. but you can easily get 40+ MPG out of this car.

Very Enthused About This Model — Excellent mileage; deceivingly good head and leg room. Lots of space due to "magic seats". Well-designed layout. 10 cupholders ! Love the car. My wife loves it, too.

The Fit Fits. — Inexpensive, Reliable, 30+ mpg on every tank so far, opt for manual trans (the auto drives like a van), total cost of ownership less than a Prius. Nimble, Light, Tight turning radius. Highly recommended for a daily driver. loads of space.

My Fit — I love my car because it's new and I had to replace my Civic (accident). Never really liked the Fit but then I drove it and it's fun to drive! It's my 3rd Honda so gotta love it. =] The Fit looks small on the outside but it has a spacious interior.

2009 Honda Fit — Drives great and is surprisingly roomy inside for a small car. The car rides higher than most compacts, which is very nice. So far, the car is getting about 33mpg in the city and a little over 40 on the highway. My last Honda was still going strong after 18 years and this looks like another great car. I just wish the cargo cover came standard, but you can't ask for everything.

Honda It — It is a blast to drive! It is quick, nimble and responsive. The gas mineage is great (36+). The quality is very good. Do not like cloth seats. The nav system is good, but not as good as Garman. Finish is of good quality.

Fits Are Fun — I'm 6'2" and 290 pounds. Getting in and out of most subcompacts is a torture for me. Not so with the Fit. I can easily enter and exit this little car. after getting in it is a dream to drive. Very peppy and not nearly as much road noise as I was led to believe. The voice control for the audio and Navigation system is sweet. Much better than I'd hoped for. Country roads love this car as it carves curves like a good sport motorcycle without the lean. The seats surprised me with their comfort on extended trips. At my size they are still quite good. Not a lot of saddle sores afterward. I have the Sport and the suspension is a little bumpier than a full sized auto but since I traded in a 3/4 ton pickup for this, the ride to me is quite smooth. All around I love it. Oh...did I mention the 38 MPG it's giving me when driving it to and from work?

From A New Owner... — this car has a unique look, a spacious interior, and is fun. the acceleration leaves a little to be desired as does the 10 gallon gas tank. however, this car keeps me in check on the road, so i'm happy. :)
